U.S. Shipping Temporarily Unavailable
End of De Minimis Exemption – U.S. Shipping Temporarily Unavailable
As you may know, the U.S. de minimis exemption is scheduled to end Friday, August 29th under Executive Order 14324, unless a last-minute change occurs.
This exemption allowed shipments under $800 USD to enter the U.S. duty-free. With the exemption revoked, tariffs will apply to most products, affecting many businesses outside the U.S. that serve American customers.
How this affects our business:
-
Every order shipped from outside the U.S. will now be subject to tariffs based on the country of origin, creating additional costs and paperwork.
What we plan to do to minimize the impact:
-
Reduce our margins where possible to offset some of the tariffs.
-
Keep inventory sourced in the U.S. within the U.S. to ship directly, avoiding tariffs, reducing shipping delays
-
Expand our network of U.S.-based teams to offer a great selection
The second and third points will be our main focus, as they will allow us to continue offering a wide selection at the lowest prices possible.
However, it will take some time to fully set up operations in the U.S. and determine the best way to handle these changes. In the meantime, we have temporarily paused U.S. shipments.
We sincerely value your support and remain committed to serving our U.S. customers. Even as tariffs take effect, we will work tirelessly to minimize price increases, maintain timely delivery, and keep our products accessible and affordable. Thank you for being a valued custome
